Chris is a Director of Bayleys' Whitianga, with over 40+ years’ experience in commercial and industrial real estate.

As part of Chris’s role, he co-ordinated Bayleys Total Property including managing Auction Day and overseeing the close of Tenders, Expressions of Interest and Deadline Private Treaty negotiations.

Chris also co-ordinated Bayleys interface with major clients such as Fonterra.

Land sales has always held a keen interest for Chris, and he has been involved in many significant sales in the Auckland region over many years.

Chris will now work closely with business partners Shaun Paterson and Karl Davis to maintain and grow the Bayleys franchise in the Coromandel.

Chris returned to New Zealand from Sydney in 1998 to become a joint owner and director of Bayleys’ Manukau commercial franchise covering from Otahuhu in the north to Bombay in the south of Auckland. In 2007 that business was merged with Bayleys’ Auckland office.

Prior to moving to Whitianga, Chris was a Senior Director of the Auckland C&I division and assisted the Auckland managers with daily business mentoring to assist the sales teams. Chris played an integral part of Bayleys' international activities, promoting and selling New Zealand property to investors in Australia, Asia, North America, and Europe, as well as co-ordinating the introduction of Knight Franks high net worth investors to the New Zealand market.

Ensuring a co-ordinated approach to offshore activities across the Bayleys group to produce the best outcome for clients and working closely with Bayleys’ Auckland based, multilingual Asian Markets Division which services both local and offshore Asian clients, Chris regularly travelled to China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia promoting New Zealand property and visiting Bayleys vast network of offshore clients built up over the last forty years.
